Monkey Plant

This is a flower called Monkey Plant, Ruellia Makoyana, at the Conservatory!   It has a beautiful pink color, and such a happy face to see.

  4. Hi I am new here, came in from TF. That color for a Ruellia is really very beautiful. We have the Ruellia tuberosa here which is blue and behave as weeds in our area. We also have the ornamental one Ruellia something i forgot the species at the moment, but that one is Makoyana a variety or a species. If you wrote it in small letter i will know it is a species, but with capital M, maybe a variety, i don't know! thanks.
