Dogwood Growing
Very few houses around my neighborhood have dogwood trees, so I went to Home Depot to look at them. These are the pink dogwood flowers that they offer, along with a few white ones, but pink seems to be more popular.

Though I would love to have one of these beautiful dog wood tree, I couldn't for my yard is too small, and the soil is very unfriendly. It would take a completely different made over to grow anything around here beside weed.
Beautiful Blossom
It is April weather now, cold, strong wind, and unpredictable. Some of the dog wood trees didn't look too healthy but I Like them still. The flowers bloomed, so they are promising a beautiful sight to see.

I love dogwoods! I grew up with them and although I live in a different place now, they grow well here, too. for which I am grateful!

The colors in these photos are fantastic...the first photo is absolutely breathtaking the way the background looks against the soft,soft colors! Needs to be a postcard/card/print or something :)))

ReplyDeleteI love those pink dogwoods. Just had a flash back of North Carolina. It was my Mom's favorite tree. I planted one at the last house I built. The new owner cut it down and also an apple tree.
