Cherry Blossoms
We didn't get to enjoy seeing the blooms this year for long, since the rain, the wind, and cold weather took its toll on spring season.
All the beautiful flowers came and went almost overnight. By the time the rain stopped, which was four days later, we were left with bare branches and leaves.
Then again, it is what it is! There is still fantastic beauty in what was left, and I just have to look at it in a different perspective.

Totally understand when the weather doesn't co operate . Cherry blossoms are so fleeting.
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful. I'm glad you were able to get a few photos before they were gone.
ReplyDeleteGood attitude!
ReplyDeleteThese are so nice. I use to love seeing them bloom when we lived in Maryland.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a blessed day♥
The weather has been strange in Colorado this year too. Your photos are beautiful. (visiting from Bloomin' Tuesday)
ReplyDeleteThey're so beautiful, and it's a shame how quickly it's over. :(
ReplyDeleteMy cherry blossoms don't last long either. . . lucky to have them for a week.
ReplyDeleteRight now I have quite a few cherries on my 3-yr old tree. Now I just have to keep the birds from eating them all so I can make a cherry pie!
oh, sorry about that, at least you are able to enjoy the blooms when they were there and froze them in your camera. hopefully, next year should be better for you.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Bloomin' Tuesday! A gardener certainly has to have a good atitude. Very interesting shots. Jean
ReplyDeleteSorry they didn't last longer!
ReplyDeleteLove your photos of the cherry blossoms. I think they portray the fleeting lifespan of these beautiful blossoms perfectly :) The cold weather this year has caused the cherry blossoms here to bloom late too but they stuck around for more than four days for us!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for cameras which can make the season last longer. :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean by the weather disintegrating your cherry blossoms. Every year without fail (right at peony blooming time) we have several days of rain that spraddles open the weighty peonies. The blooms would be so pretty if they would last.
